This is a fascinating album. Building upon an earlier collaboration between Vokon and Hern on Vokon's album Stairways, it takes synthwave into experimental new directions, with tracks that flow between different melodic motifs and structures. A rewarding listen.

Finally got this album with another repress. You can always tell a Hotel Pools song from the vibe it provides. Yet each album is different, possible sticking to a theme, creating that unique vibe but allowing for the listener to pick out when it's a Hotel Pools track. Could listen to this over and over, Hydro is fantastic, but the rest are just as good. Keep repressing...keep repressing....

We, the fans, often moan about artists becoming stagnant or that they changed their style beyond recognition. Tommy has hit that perfect spot - his production has matured in incredible ways, yet you can still feel that inimitable *2012* sound oozing from each note. Honestly, this is such a gorgeous album. Each track gets straight to the point with the idea it tries to represent and never overstays its welcome, yet there is so much experimentation on display, you'll just get lost in it!
