one of the 1st synthwave artists i got into way back in 2012..what a glorious time that was... for me it was/is (and is, and the music is) better than actual 80s music,
altho it is amazing that i first discovered "italo disco" in 1992..and even tho 1980s output of "italo disco", I can still discover songs from that era I missed! you'd think after 30 years of listening to it that I'dve heard it all... anyways... SFERRO IS THE 💣!!! 💋💯🌴😎🌞⛱
Favorite track: Airline.

The self-titled EP takes things in a bit of a different direction with lo-fi synth tones and mechanical beats counterbalanced by lush chords, which soar in "Airline". "Overload" has a deliciously blaring hook that eventually gives way to powerful chords and a simple but catchy rhythm. "JVC" plays with distortion and adds another level of complexity to the drum track. "Come With Me" opens with an alarm-like intro, after which Sferro lays down a beat and turns it into a fun, midtempo outrun track.
Favorite track: Come With Me.

I only relatively recently got into Synthwave as a genre (starting off by tracking down Perturbator and M|O|O|N| from Hotline Miami's Soundtrack), but Sferro is hands down my favourite release to this point.
Favorite track: The Overload.

Hard to pick a favourite track... This is a fantastic configuration of songs from Sferro. All are excellent and all are unique. The thing that binds these songs together is quality and expressiveness, not structural or sonic similarities. Beautifully done.
Favorite track: Airline.

From out of the blue comes a tiny but mighty new release from producer Sferro. This self-titled release is a big jump from last year's "Wetware Computer"; that was a near-perfect distillation of the sounds and beats so many dig in the retro electronic genres. Fun and familiar. The strength of "Sferro" is how it retains those roots and injects so much that is new and fresh. You get the impression that Sferro found his muse with this one. Hot: Come With Me and JVC
Favorite track: Come With Me.
The self-titled "Sferro" EP is Sferro's third release and this time around he's pulled influences from all directions to create something unique, yet familiar to the Sferro sound. He hopes you dig it <3

It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10. connivingkhajiit
